Beatbox meets extended reality…
A room full of sound: Spatial Sampler XR is an innovative musical instrument that combines sound and movement in a completely new way. With the help of gesture control and XR technology, an interactive soundscape is created that can be played with the whole body. “Air Sampling” is a series of performances in which a sound source is recorded (sampled) and distributed throughout the room. In Air Sampling #008, the Spatial Sampler XR meets artist and beatboxer Nikhil Sharmans.
